Floral Peplum

Nori and I wore these coordinating outfits around our neighborhood and received so many compliments! I love that beyond looking adorable, her entire outfit was comfy enough for her to enjoy an active afternoon at our favorite playgrounds. I’m partnering with Janie and Jack to share their summer arrivals which includes some darling pieces for boys & girls + fun accessories to finish the look (Nori is slightly obsessed with all her sunglasses from Janie and Jack!).

Peplum Puff Shoulder Top

This stretchy floral smocked top is seriously chic and I love that their pieces come in a wide range of sizing, from 12 months for babies up to a tween 16. Perfect for coordinating sibling outfits, or petite mamas could give the “tween” sizing a try.

I really love this top and have been reaching for it often (paired with jeans or ankle pants) but do want to emphasize it fits short on an adult woman. I’m 5 feet tall, usually an xxs petite and the tween 14 works with a small adjustment mentioned below, so a tween 16 might fit someone who is xs petite or with a short torso. On both Nori and I, the elasticized sleeves fit a little loose where it goes over the shoulders, but was a quick and easy fix using safety pins at the back of each sleeve to pin the fabric in a bit.

Ruffle Hem Shorts

These twill shorts are too cute with their ruffled hem detail. They have a side zipper entry, adjustable inner elastic waistband, and come in sizes 3 months – kids 12. For size reference, Nori is 36 inches / 30 lbs and typically wears size 2T, but I sized up to 3T for room to grow into and have the waistband rolled up for now.

The summer collection also includes some fun swimsuits and rash guards in their recently extended sizes!
