In honor of fall, Nordstrom asked me to share some season-appropriate styles from their petites department. I’m a sucker for versatility so this Nic + Zoe convertible cardigan caught my eye. There’s nifty buttons on the front tips that let you get 4 different looks, 3 of which I’m showing here. I learned about this knitwear brand a while back because they are locally-based (Boston fashion companies are few and far between!), and was pleasantly surprised by how well this fit.
Petite P usually equates to 0-2, so I wasn’t sure what to expect sizing-wise. The shoulders, length, and sleeves ended up fitting really well, especially in sleeve width which is where I sometimes have trouble.
The sweater is on the lighter side in a tightly-woven texture, and is stretchy. Care is handwash cold and lay flat to dry. I picked the “dark storm” color which is a deep navy gray with a hint of violet.
On a side note, these Sole Society heels have risen to staple status in my closet over the past 6 months. It’s tough to find comfortable low heels that still look stylish and sleek! Please note from my past posts that these run about half a size small, and fit narrow.
Out of the four styles for this cardigan my favorite has to be the crossover, which reminds me of the casual chic drape tops from H&M; or Pleione (old review) but in a sweater material. For dresses and skirts I liked the simple knotted look from the f2nd photo best. The tie draws the eye in to a higher and narrow waistline which is flattering on shorter ladies. I’ve heard from several of you who are trying to curate a minimalist wardrobe (mine has been beyond that point for a few years now!), and would recommend looking for similar pieces designed to be styled numerous ways.
Thank you to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post. Which was your favorite look out of the three?
