I hope some of you got to enjoy a few days of unseasonably warm weather! I’ve been loving olive as a transitional color – it goes equally well with black for winter, as it does with soft hues like light beige.
I’m excited to partner with Sole Society again and share that one of my favorite shoe styles from prior years is back! The Katarina suede pumps are a flattering, comfortable style that’s walking-friendly (heel is under 2 inches). You can see them on me against bare legs in this post and in this post (photos # 3 and 4).
The stacked low block heels on these are a stable alternative to skinny high heels, and the pointed toe shape is visually lengthening. Fit is true to size (I take my usual sz 5), although the front toe area runs on the narrow side, so perhaps try half size up if you have wider feet. This year’s colors include light camel, a sunny yellow, and a light blue.
For those of you who asked about these skinny jeans, the fit of a sz 2 petite is consistent with a snug size 24 in other denim brands. I sized up for some extra room, and found the sz 4 petite to fit in between a standard 24 to 25. Measurements of sz 4 petite: 26.5″ inseam, 8″ mid rise, 13″ across the waist, 16″ across the hips, and 4.75″ across the ankle opening.
Thank you to Sole Society for partnering on this post!
