Although my daily outfits have been looking very different this year (pencil skirts have been replaced by joggers, heels by sneakers), I want to continue sharing style inspo that’s relevant for you guys! While working on this post with Banana Republic, I found myself torn between a few pieces that were all well-fitting however with pretty different vibes. I did a poll on IG asking what you guys preferred to see – between these joggers and this sweater dress, the votes were split evenly, but this jacket got the most love by a mile!
I have to agree, as this sherpa jacket reminds me of a much pricier option I’d been eyeing and would also make a beautiful gift. True to the reviews it’s a thick and warm sherpa that’s fully lined, and with chic faux leather accents under the collar (see the last photo in this post) and along the pockets and zipper. Size xxs petite fits on me with room to layer a thermal tee and sweater under. The sleeves are on the shorter side, which works out for me, but if you usually find petite sizing sleeves to be borderline short for you then these may be too short.
Side note – all the items in this post are currently almost full price compared to when I ordered, so if you love something, I’d bookmark it and check back for a sale!
Mockneck sweater dress – Since a number of you mentioned looking for a camel sweater dress, this one comes in petite as well as regular and tall sizing and is pretty classic all around. It’s a medium weight cotton-blend sweater knit with ribbing at the neck, sleeves cuffs, and bottom, and has a straighter fit throughout the torso.
Twill utility joggers – I wasn’t sure what to expect given the mixed reviews, but these are an interesting take on joggers, made of a light-medium weight twill fabric instead of a sweats material. The petite sizing is actually very short gal-friendly, with a slim casual fit hitting above my ankles, and a pretty narrow elastic ankle opening. Note these are not a “cozy” jogger – if you’re looking for soft and stretchy sweatpants, I’d maybe check out BR’s joggers in terry instead of twill!
Thank you to Banana Republic for partnering on this post.
That jacket looks so cute!
For anyone interested, the sherpa jacket is currently on sale for 50% off (only the cream white version, unfortunately black is still full price)
Please share the makeup you are wearing. Thank you!
All of the details on my everyday makeup look are shared here – the only difference is that I’m wearing KVD liquid lipstick in Lolita in these photos which is a longtime favorite because of the staying power! Doesn’t rub off while eating and drinking, and I apply it over a coat of lip balm so it isn’t a super saturated color for everyday wear.
I adore your jacket!

That jacket looks so cute! I bought BR’s Petite Sherpa Short Coat which unfortunately ran large. It was too wide for my petite frame. Checking this one out. Thank you, Jean.

Hi Jean, love the outfits! This year has definitely made me want to only wear cozy clothes. Just wondering – which color are the joggers? Are they black? Thanks!
Thank you Meg! The joggers I’m wearing are olive green but since they’re twill, they aren’t particularly cozy. If you’re looking for a softer lounging option I would recommend checking out the similar terry joggers I linked in the post!
