Here in Boston, it feels like winter is just around the corner and I’m not sure I’m ready for it! We had some crazy wind and rain this week and it got me thinking about my most practical seasonal footwear that’s still stylish. Today I’m partnering with Nordstrom to share a few water and weather resistant, yet chic, boots to carry you through fall and winter.
Blondo Hiker Bootie
These are SO cozy, warm and comfortable yet lightweight! These would’ve come home with me if I didn’t own a similar style. There is a zipper on the interior side of the boot making them very easy to take on and off without having to undo the laces. The style is reminiscent of the popular Marc Fisher Izzie boots (see on me) but with a shorter shaft, faux shearling through the inside and a 2.25″ sloping wedge heel.

Blondo Waterproof Bootie (also in a tall boot)
I love how chic these are but still with the practicality of a waterproof boot! These have a very walkable sculptural stacked heel, and a contemporary squared almond toe shape.

Caslon Chelsea Boot (current version)
I picked these up earlier this year and love that they start in size 4 for small footed ladies! They’re a great under $100 option with a chunkier lug sole. I typically wear with leggings or black jeans but also wanted to show them with a skirt below. If you have shorter legs like myself, simple black tights would make the look more flattering and elongating!

If you’re not sure how to wear this type of cardigan, I recently did a video on how to style it if you don’t want to do the half tuck. For all of my sweater tucking tips, check out this post!
Thank you to Nordstrom for partnering on this post.
Hi! Where are the pants from? I’ve been looking for a pair of straight high waisted pants in a cream/beige color for the longest time! Do you have any recommendations for that? Thank you!
Cute boots! We’re heading to Chicago for the holidays and I need a versatile pair of warm shoes. I won’t survive a midwest winter in my socal shoes. 😆
Thanks for the recommendations! If you could only pick one winter boot, which one would you pick?
It totally depends on your needs and style!
Personally, I wear a lot of black jeans and leggings so reach for my black Sam Edelman rubber boots the most because it’s often rainy or damp here, and they look decent enough (doesn’t scream rain boot) to wear even on days when its dry.
