Macy's timeless bedding set

Thank you to Macy’s and Shopstyle for partnering on this post.

Amongst the many unexpected changes that the events of this year has brought on, I can’t imagine what it’s like to be planning or re-planning a wedding at this time! While in-person celebrations have been on pause, one way we now appreciate more than ever to help celebrate our friends’ big milestones is through their gift registries. I’m partnering with Macy’s for their wedding registry, which has a wide range of options, from home goods to furniture and cookware that we’ve bought over the years!

In particular, with all the time we’re spending at home these days, having a timeless bedding set would be high on my registry recommendations. Lauren Ralph Lauren Home has some very classic bedding options like this Spencer Border bedding collection that comes in several neutral color choices, which you can also style a little differently with their various sheet sets – i.e., striped sheets for a preppier look, or leaf print sheets for a seasonal change! The Spencer Border bedding is available as a cotton sateen comforter or duvet, and the Spencer sheeting sets are all either 100% cotton or cotton sateen. For a more feminine option, I also love the look of the floral Willa bedding collection.

Hi Jean! Do you use duvets or comforters? Which one do you prefer?

Hi Jean!! Thanks for all your tips. How you put the headboard next to the bed? I bought the home depot bed, but don’t work with the headboard. Thanks

Hi there! The headboard is actually not attached to our bed – it’s just leaning against the wall, wedged snugly against the wall using the bed frame. I use those large pillows to cover up the visible looking junction. It’s not ideal, but it works for us!

All those pillows look GREAT but where do you put them at night when you actually go to bed?

The under bed drawers work great for this purpose! Or just off to the side on the floor or a chair for the night

Jean, where is your bed — or, at least, the headboard — from?
