It’s been a while since I’ve shared a makeup post, since I still use and love many of the same products from my old 10 min routine. I’ve rotated in just a few new products to the mix, and wanted to share a current routine I love for a glowy Spring face!

Makeup Shown in order of application:

  • Brows: Anastasia Brow Powder Duo in Ebony (also sold here) applied with Brush 12. This powder is the best value since you just need a little. It lasts forever…I’m talking years even with daily use. Use gentle brush strokes and pick a color that’s a little lighter than your actual hair color so you don’t end up with stark brows.
    • When I want to spend the extra time and create a laminated-like effect, their Brow Freeze is one of the only products strong enough to hold my stubborn, coarse brow hairs. I apply the freeze wax first before any other makeup, let it dry, then fill in using Brow Duo at the end in light strokes.
  • Foundation: Nars Light Reflecting Foundation in Punjab (also sold here) applied in the video using my Artis brush #6. I have combo skin and this one feels lightweight and comfortable on my face all day with buildable coverage. The finish looks like skin to me and feels very natural.
    • Alternative: Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk in shade 5.75 is probably my top foundation for buildable coverage and a luminous finish.
    • Alternative: IT Cosmetics CC+ Nude Glow I’m between Medium & Medium Tan is a full coverage option I like with SPF40, but for everyday wear I don’t reach for full coverage.
  • Eyeshadow: Laura Mercier Caviar Stick in Khaki (also sold here). I’ve been using these for probably 10+ years and still a favorite! When in a pinch, I don’t do a separate eyeliner and just use these sticks to draw a slightly darker line at the corners of my eyes to serve as a liner. I pat using my fingertips to blend and tap upwards from the outer corners of my eye in a cat-eye shape.
  • Mascara: I don’t do mascara on a day to day basis, but my usual is still Lancôme Hypnôs Drama. I curl my lashes again after applying mascara.
  • Bronzer: Rare Beauty Bronzer Stick shade Warm Wishes. I tried the testers a while back and Happy Sol is actually my first choice for a cooler toned brown, but it’s been out of stock. For those who are not makeup experts like myself, this bronzer stick is very blend-able.
  • Blush: Merit Flush Balm in Beverly Hills (also sold here). I’m newer to Merit blush and absolutely LOVE this one so far! You can apply the product to a brush first, but it also glides directly on incredibly smoothly and basically blends itself with a few taps of the finger.
  • Lipcolor: Rare Beauty Matte Lipstick in Humble. Matte yet non drying and has good staying power. Before I start my makeup routine I usually apply some lip balm and let it settle in. By the time I get to lip color, my lips are a little more hydrated and any lipstick glides on smoothly.
Skincare / Cleansers
  • Eye makeup remover: Bi-Facil remover is the absolute best gentle yet effective eye makeup remover
  • Cleansing balm: Farmacy Green Clean – this is still one of my favorite everyday cleansing balms over the past few years. Melts away makeup without drying out my skin.
    • Farmacy also carries this gift set with three mini Green Cleans in different scents

The lighting was dark in this photo so doesn’t really show the true colors of the products. My IG video will show them much better in natural light!

Hi Dahlia, sorry for the delay! I’m just using a regular beauty sponge but I pinch it tighter with my fingers to pat smaller areas like the under eye area
